Gary's Sky Dive
Gary embarks on a thrilling sky dive, raising nearly £600 for the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance.
"I have always wanted to do a freefall jump and when I saw and article in the local newspaper asking for volunteers to support a local charity, Essex and Herts Air Ambulance, I just had to sign up.
I was very excited before the jump, until the doors opened and I was the first person out!
It felt crazy being up in the air, falling out of the plane at 10,000 feet and travelling at 120-140mph. The freefall only lasted around 30-40 seconds, so I don't remember much of it.
After I landed I felt like going straight back up and jumping out again. I cannot wait to do it again. I would recommend this to anyone thinking about doing a jump or wanting to do something out of the ordinary."
